When Sheena Watson moved into her three-bedroom terrace, in Margate, with husband, Craig, and sons, Sam and Alex, she was well aware that it needed more than just a coat of paint to bring it up-to-date. ‘It hadn’t been decorated for decades, and the bathroom with its shabby turquoise suite, grubby walls and stained carpet was perhaps the worst room of all,’ recalls Sheena. ‘What’s more, a huge cupboard, complete with antiquated boiler, meant there was no room to manoeuvre when it came to adding a much needed shower.’ However, Sheena was sure she could rise to the challenge and create an inviting and practical family bathroom.
