Revised research guide

A second revised edition of popular FIBIS research guide British Ships in Indian Waters: Their owners, crew & passengersby expert researcher Richard Morgan is now available from the Families in British India Society. This one-stop guide, first published in 2012, can be used alongside the FIBIS website, which hosts transcriptions of many of the maritime and marine sources featured (mostly free of charge). Updated to include new material and findings, both on and offline, this book contains all family historians need to know when researching ancestors and ships during the reign of the Honourable East India Company from 1600-1858 and beyond, to almost the present day. The book costs £5.95 and is available to buy at www.fibis.org
