REARSETS

So then, rearsets, what are they all about, eh? One big argument for fitting a set of rearsets to your pride and joy, old or new, is simply that they look cool. Sticking lovely bits of machined yumminess on your bike is an addictive habit after all, and rearsets are one area most folk tend to look at and consider at some point or another. Of course, there are practical reasons too. Aside from the aforementioned aesthetic improvement, they usually allow far more grip for the soles of your boots than stock peg arrangements and, of course, the pegs will be fixed in place rather than fold back, which can help save some expensive bits of your bike in one of those worst case scenarios out there...one of those worst case scenarios out there...

Then there’s the fact that there is ordinarily a lot of adjustability built in; from peg placement to often being able to adjust the toe-lever positioning too, allowing one to tailor them specifically to you and your plates of meat. Of course, like any other product line, some are more expensive than others. However, spending cheap doesn’t always mean receiving toss in return, and a lot of what you get out of your chosen rearsets is down to exactly why you’ve chosen them in the first place. So here are a load for you to look through and peruse, and do check out the respective websites for fitment guides so you put them on the right way!

About Fast Bikes

TEST THE BEST IN THE BEST TEST Yes, it’s that time of year again when we all decamp to some far flung track and spend two days living the life of Riley; burning fuel, razzing tyres, scuffing sliders and scoffing pizzas. From the moment the light goes green to the second the circuit switches it back to red, we’re out on track trying to understand.
