THE SIGNS ARE BRIGHTER FROM THE SPORTY STATESIDE CO....
EBR is back. But not here. Yet.
Eastenders has nothing on the trials and tribulations of Erik Buell's efforts. The latest incarnation of the EBR firm, however, is now saying that it'll have two new models on the way one being mooted to be an `urban street bike' whose character is said to be `quick, dark, and low'. You can make your own minds up about that, but the promise of it coming in at under $10,000 is a juicy one indeed. The new owner, Bill Melvin, has said that the firm has had an `amazing summer'. We're not sure if that refers to a company away day to the country club or to the progress made in the factory. Future bikes will be based on the 1190 platform, and the current range is also available in dealers across the pond. We've got no news on any future presence in the UK.
