I thought I'd share with you my 2005 GSX-R750 with 4,500 miles. I purchased it in February of 2015 when it was bone stock (it still had fork reflectors) with 1,200 miles on it from the original Marine owner. He got hurt in Iraq with nerve damage and couldn't ride it any more. It was the fourth 750 he'd owned between 1998 and 2005, and financially he didn't need to sell it, so it sat in this clean and carpeted garage next to his CR450s and Suzuki enduro bike for almost ten years, so that was cool. When I first saw it in the garage that night, I knew I had to have it. This was my second GSX-R750. My previous one I purchased new (K3) in Phoenix, Arizona while in college in 2003. I kept it until 2011. They are awesome bikes for both the street and track. I wanted the last of the pure, no electronic bikes, and the 2005 represented just that. Enjoy and keep up the great mag  I've been a reader since 2002. Here's a few of the things I've had done to it;

Our Suzuki smackhead!

• Japanese market titanium/carbon Yoshimura hi-exit race exhaust (cost me dearly but was worth it. Thanks to James at JHS Racing)

• Power Commander V

• Corbin leather seat

• Lithium-ion battery (waaaaay lighter)
