This is our quarterly magazine’s first issue, and every magazine’s launch issue is filled with so much hope and promise. It sits there, waiting to be seen, hoping readers will grasp its value. It’s a lot like how I feel as a Zambian. It’s how Africa has felt for a long time. We have been waiting to be seen. Waiting for others to say, ‘Yes, you are valuable!’ People have seen the wealth in our natural resources. They’ve tasted our riches but have they truly seen our talent, artistry, and relentless passion?
