Rebecca Enonchong

A champion of African tech and investment, Cameroonian Rebecca Enonchong is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of AppsTech, a global provider of enterprise application solutions. She is also the co-founder of I/O spaces, an inclusive coworking space in Silver Spring, Maryland, USA.
Rebecca also co-founded theCameroon Angels Network and African Business Angels network, an organisation of angel investors, where she serves as vice president. The networks’ mission is to drive angel investing in Cameroon and Africa. Rebecca divides her time between Cameroon and Washington, DC.
She has spent her life promoting tech in Africa and advocating for more Black and African female representation in the tech startup space.
She mentors and advises several technology startups, has served on several boards, and is the vice chair of the WHO Foundation.1 Rebecca has received multiple awards throughout her career, including being named a Global Leader for Tomorrow by the World Economic Forum of Davos, Switzerland. Forbes Africa listed her as one of Africa’s 50 most powerful women in 2020, and NewAfrican magazine named her one of the most influential Africans in 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2020. Jeune Afrique magazine also listed her as one of Africa’s 50 most influential women of 2017 and as one of the world’s most influential Africans in 2018, 2019 and 2020.
