Bushcraft & Survival Skills Magazine Issue 58 Retour à l'édition précédente

English
18 Critiques   •  English   •   Leisure Interest (Outdoors)
Only €7,99
In this issue we have a great how-to project where you can make your own Bushcraft Knife with the award-winning knife makers Ben and Lois Orford. Why not take a stroll as the summer ends and see what fungi you can spot with expert forager, Mark Williams. If you're out for a while Jason Ingamells looks at cooking with the Hunter's Fire.

Lofty Wiseman tells us how the book that many say started it all came about – the birth of his bestselling The SAS Survival Handbook. Grant Neale has been off to the Outdoors Trade Show in the USA and takes a look at the new Leatherman Signal in his multi-tool review. We interview Dave Watson as he celebrates 20 years in the industry. If the Hobo Stoves in the Finnish Camp at The Bushcraft Show stirred an interest then take a look at Ian Nairn’s Bushcraft on a Budget article. Eating bugs… Paul Donovan shows you what bugs pack a punch (in nutritional terms) and should the breeze pick up if you are out for a paddle then Tim Gent will steer you in the right direction.

We interview Nick Neddo, author of The Organic Artist and review his book. As a bushcrafter it is inevitable that you will suffer a cut or burn, or be with someone who does, so wilderness first aid expert James Moore guides you through what to do on. To ensure that the need for First Aid is minimised Geoffrey Guy looks at knife safety with children and Steve Hart looks at ‘Bug Out Vehicles’. Pablo shares his knowledge of small mammals and if you get lost in the ‘jungle’ whilst hunting for wildlife then check out the review of the book Lost in the Jungle.

Enjoy the rest of the summer and as always…

Happy Bushcrafting!
