Although their name may be familiar to veterans of the UK’s early 80s neo-prog scene, Quasar were among the lesserknown contenders from that movement. Like their peers they’re proggers for life, not just for a fleeting Marillion support slot, and although many line-ups have joined leader Keith Turner over the years, the now-San Francisco-based incarnation that have made the band’s third studio album sound capable but not always on the same page on this release, which first emerged digitally in 2016 but has taken until now to make it onto physical (CD and DVD) formats.
