>SSL’s original SiX mixer landed in 2019, taking the top-quality analogue channels renowned from the company’s legendary studio consoles and distilling them into a two-channel device aimed squarely at home users. We loved the SiX at the time, raving about its sound and build quality, but it wasn’t without some weak spots. The most significant of these was a lack of any kind of audio interface, which meant that small studio users would still need an additional device to sit between the SiX and a DAW.
