As I write, Boris Johnson has announced a ten-point plan for a Green Industrial Revolution. Driven by the need to meet the UK government’s commitment to net zero carbon emissions by 2050, and with the aim of creating 250,000 jobs, he also revealed plans to extend the Green Homes Grant by a year to the end of March 2022.
