EASY ON THE COCONUT

I FOUND THE ARTICLE Coconut Oil: Is It All It’s Cracked Up To Be? (March issue) interesting, as I have various food intolerances, including dairy and soya, and can’t eat most cheese. I’ve finally found types of milk, cheese and yogurt I can eat, but they’re all made from coconut oil and coconut cream. Reading your feature and learning about the link with the saturated fat in coconut and raised blood cholesterol made me think. I have raised cholesterol, so need to be careful and cut back on foods made from coconut. Thank you for getting me to re-evaluate my diet.
