I love seeing bread made in the shape of sheaves of wheat. It reminds me of going to church with my grandparents for the Harvest Festival service. My grandad was a baker, so he always made the sheaf. It helps us to understand, from a young age, how lucky we are to have enough food and that it’s a good thing to share with others who may not be as fortunate.
