‘To keep me invested, I need treats that will deliver enough of a dopamine hit’
Round about now, my “new year, new you” motivation goes AWOL. It exits the building with its huff in a puff that I haven’t dropped 5kg or acquired flawless skin from drinking so much H2O that Thames Water logs unusual demand.
I’ve worked out that to keep me invested, I need treats – treats that will deliver enough of a dopamine hit to power me out of bed and on to the pavements on cold, dark mornings.
