I am a newcomer to this fascinating magazine that literally brings history to life. Your ‘Time Capsule’ front section is a really great idea and sums up events neatly, in order to help us remember them. The photographs in each issue are amazing and make each event a little bit more ‘human’. Learning about the past from reading is fine, but the sheer gap in time between then and now, and the often outrageous behaviour of people almost makes it seem quite unreal.
