Summer is in full swing, and we’ve been to more BBQs than we’d care to admit. However, if it’s approaching your time to host and your outdoor space is looking a tad sorry for itself, then we have lots of inspirational ideas to help spruce it up. On page 74 there are three great garden trends to inspire; from beachy blues to a tropical or country-style scheme, there are so many ways you can get the look even if you have limited space to work with. Over on page 86 we have more outdoor (and indoor) advice and buys to get you through the season. Personally, I’m tempted by a tiki bar! Summer always gives me the motivation to freshen up the interior of my home as well, but it doesn’t always have to mean getting out the paintbrush. A new piece of furniture, from a sofa or a sideboard, can really change the feel of a room too – so our 12-page furniture finds special, starting on page 61 is well worth a peruse. This issue, we have seven great real homes for you, starting with our cover girl Rowan’s new-build flat on page 12. She has really put her stamp on it by using her creative skills – and it’s certainly inspired me to be a bit more inventive too!
