It’sofficially rain and mud season here in Southern California as I continue my post-baby return to the saddle. I’ve been enjoying the trails on a sassy chestnut Arabian mare and, on occasion, her sweet 24-year-old sire (right). We have been dodging a lot of sand bags lately, but I’m determined to keep up my horse time—I’m sure you all understand!
