Happy Fall!

October is my favorite month. The summer heat has fi nally ended, and there’s an unmistakable crisp feel to the mornings. The leaves are turning spectacular colors, and there’s a little break before the craziness of non-stop holiday festivities gets going.

Some big news to report at Horse Illustrated is that I will be your new editor! I’ve been a part of the editorial team here for 12 years, and managing editor for the last seven. This is an unbelievable honor for someone who has read and admired this magazine for literally as far back as I can remember.

A little about me: My fi rst job was as a counselor at a wonderful summer horse camp where I got to teach riding and vaulting.
