Over half of Earth’s population can be found in large, urban areas. Millions of people live in the world’s largest cities, creating an uneven distribution of resources across our planet. In order to sustain inflated populations, homes are being stacked into lofty skyscrapers, and roads are designed to safely navigate with and an increased number of vehicles and more pedestrians on the street. Beneath these roads are networks of pipes and cables that bring vital resources to our homes.
