One of the reasons I’m so passionate about motorcycle travel is that I like surprises, but I really enjoy the preparation stage, too. That for me is where an adventure begins. I love the research: finding out about the road possibilities, visas, local customs and cultures, weather patterns, fuel availability and so on. Prep equals multiple layers of fascination and I find it all quite magnetic. Prep gets my curiosity antennae twitching.
