For the first time ever, the American International Motorcycle Expo (AIMExpo) took place in Las Vegas, Nevada, providing an opportunity for West Coast attendees who normally can’t travel to Ohio to participate in North America’s largest motorsport expo, and resulting in the highest turn-out ever. On October 11–14, 2018, the Mandalay Convention Center filled with industry, media, and vendors from all over the world, showcasing new bikes, products, and technology.
AIMExpo Outdoors featured full-length rides from major manufacturers, such as Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, Indian, and more. Slingshot even took people for “joy rides,” where attendees could tag along as a pro driver demonstrated power slides and donuts. And while the adults played outside, there was entertainment for kids inside the convention center. E-bike manufacturer STACYC created a mini-track where children could have fun on easy-to-ride electric balance bikes.
