February 2025 issue of Airliner World, incorporating Airports of the World, features on its cover the stunning Emirates Airbus A350, the airline’s first new aircraft type in more than a decade. Richard Schuurman was in Dubai to witness the arrival of the next generation widebody and uncover how the jet begins a new chapter for the Middle East’s largest carrier.

While the Airbus A350 is at the very early stages of its commercial life, the Boeing 757 is gradually disappearing from passenger service after more than four decades of service.
