Cypriot carrier Cobalt Air has launched a six-times weekly connection from its Larnaca base to London/Gatwick. The new connection is in addition to the airline’s existing Stansted service.
London/Stansted-based CargoLogicAir has expanded its network via a new service to Tel Aviv. The weekly connection – launched on November 10 – is operated by a Boeing 747-400F and routes through Frankfurt on the outbound and return legs.
Brussels-based start-up Air Belgium is now expected to launch services in early 2018. The new carrier, which will initially fly to Hong Kong using a leased Airbus A340, had previously outlined plans to operate its first services in late 2017 but, according to local press reports, has postponed its inaugural flights as it moved to shore up its financial reserves.
