Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering Corporation (Ameco) Beijing has been approved by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) to provide Boeing 737 MAX 8 operators with line maintenance, scheduled checks, modifications, engine changes and APU replacement services for the latest variant of the single-aisle airliner. In addition, the company’s training centre has also been certified as the first CCAR- 147 training organisation in China to provide 737 MAX training services. In early November, Ameco started its first training course for 24 mechanics.
