Etihad Airways has marked the opening of the Louvre Abu Dhabi with a spectacular low-level fly past by one of its Airbus A380 super jumbos. Sporting the airline’s ‘Facets of Abu Dhabi’ livery, the aircraft chosen, A6-API (c/n 233), now features Louvre Abu Dhabi’s official logo on each of its four engines to promote the gallery opening. Peter Baumgartner, Etihad Airways CEO, commented: “Echoing the sentiments from the signing of our landmark partnership agreement with Louvre Abu Dhabi last month [October 2017], we are honoured to have played our part in the inauguration of this hugely important institution.” (Photo Etihad Airways)
