Do you want a place to sit with a cup of iced tea while you supervise your kids? Look at your space to see how it might best fit those needs. If you want to be able to work on your laptop while overseeing playtime, you’ll need seating in the shade so you can see your laptop screen, but also have a view of the yard. If you want to entertain, make sure you have enough space for a table that will fit the number of guests you typically host.
