Each modern farmhouse has distinct traits that make it unique. When the husband-and-wife team Michael and Nicole Tew of Trickle Creek Designer Homes built what they call their modern Magnolia farmhouse in Calgary, Alberta, their original intention was for it to be a show home. What they didn’t anticipate was falling in love with the home so much that they would make it their own living place. Here are the classic and simple elements that made this home irresistible to everyone—including them.
