Editor replies: Thanks for your feedback, Mr Phillips. ATG covered Brexit for six months in the run-up to the June 2016 referendum, including a round table debate with auctioneers, dealers and association chiefs, presenting the case for and against staying in the EU.
Following June 23, aside from some jitters at the summer Impressionist and Modern art sales, the art and antiques trade stoically carried on regardless.
Fallout from events such as the Brexit vote have a time lag but once the government triggers the mechanism to leave the EU, rest assured ATG will pick up its Brexit coverage again.
