Previews: £5001 - £30,000

Attributed to Hungarian painter Jozsef Rippl-Ronai (1861-1927), this still-life with flowers and fruit stars in Dreweatts’ summer sale in Donnington Priory, Newbury, on August 22.

The 2ft 1in x 2ft 7in (64 x 80cm) oil on canvas is understood to have come from Czechoslovakia to the UK with the vendor’s grandmother, who escaped the Nazis c.1937-38.
