Argyll Talking Newspapers, a registered charity, records readings of local newspapers so that people with visual impairment can keep up with the news. The volunteers then send out the recordings on memory sticks to more than 150 people. Mr O’Hara, who recorded a reading from the Argyllshire Advertiser and the Campbeltown Courier during his visit, said: ‘What a fantastic idea.
