Skipness woman takes charge of Argyll economic helm

Former Tarbert Academy and Lochgilphead High School pupil, Jennifer Nicoll, has been appointed area manager for Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) in Argyll and the Islands.

Originally from Skipness, Jennifer has a financial services background and has worked for a variety of international and UK-based organisations, most recently in Edinburgh. Working from HIE’s Lochgilphead office, she will oversee the organisation’s work across Argyll and Bute, Arran and Cumbrae.
