Friends plan Easter fun at the castle

Last month the Friends of Brodick Castle had an interesting meeting when Charlie Sclater from the National Galleries of Scotland came to talk about how the galleries have increased their visitor numbers over the past few years.

The group’s next talk is on Thursday March 22 at 2pm in the Rangers Centre when members will hopefully hear from the castle’s new head gardener about his time at The Gardens on the Bay in Singapore.

Easter is the friends main fundraising event and a host of actvities are planned for the weekend. There will be the annual Easter egg trail, catching the duck, the duck derby and tombolas for both adults and children, and they are looking for donations for the tombola.
