Mum will walk to raise awareness of her son’s rare condition

A Kilmory mum whose child is affected by a rare form of dwarfism called achondroplasia is to undertake a charity walk around Arran to raise awareness of the condition.

Louise and Lauchlan Milroy, who will be raising funds for RGA with her charity walk.

Affecting one child in every 15,000 to 40,000, the condition is so rare that Louise Milroy’s one-yearold son Lauchlan is believed to be the only child on the island with the condition.
