‘Something of the Sea’ art exhibition

The ‘Something of the Sea’ exhibition, a collaboration between Arran Open Studios and the Community of Arran Seabed Trust (COAST), opened at the Octopus Centre, Lamlash on Monday 6 August with a real buzz of excitement.

People were queuing up to get in – and not just for the cheese and wine.

More than 50 generous and talented professional and amateur artists, who have a passion for protecting Arran’s seas, anonymously donated an unsigned piece of work for sale at the exhibition, with all the proceeds going to support the marine conservation work of COAST.
