New guide shows the coastal way

An award-winning guidebooks’ publisher is bringing out a new guidebook about the Arran Coastal Way next January.

The Arran Coastal Way was recognised as one of Scotland’s Great Trails earlier this year. It runs around the coast for 65 miles (105 km) and the walking varies from easy coastal paths and cycle track to rugged beach-walking with some boulder-hopping.

The new guidebook has been published in a handy format. Lavishly illustrated with 125 colour photos, it is printed on rainproof paper with detailed mapping.
