BRITISH international distance runner Mike Kallenberg is the new world record-holder in the half-marathon ... while running dressed as a superhero.
Kallenberg, who donned a Robin outfit, beat his friend and partner in (solving) crime, Carwyn Jones, dressed as Batman, to the record at the Cardiff Half Marathon on Sunday, running 69:32 to Jones’ 70:40 as they both dipped inside the previous record of 75:39 – the pair also finished third and fourth in the Welsh Championship race.
