THE BRITISH and Irish Junior Mountain Running Championships on September 17 will this year incorporate a Home Counties International match.
The championships are hosted by alternating participating countries, and following last year’s event in Wales, held in conjunction with the World Mountain Running Championships, this year’s event takes place in Keswick, in Cumbria.
Tyler Hutchinson, who was a clear winner at the trial last month, leads the England men’s junior team, while Scarlet Dale, fifth in the International Youth Cup, heads the women’s under-20 squad.
