AMONG all the storylines which will develop in the coming days in Rio, Brendan Foster is hoping the overriding memory from the Olympics will be one of the athletes reclaiming their sport.
“We’ve had a terrible year in terms of athletics and the Russian drug cheats. It’s time for the athletes to step on stage and show the world who owns the sport,” said Foster, the Olympic bronze medallist from 1976.
