BRITISH athletes plan to give the rest of the world a lesson in drinking and running at the World Beer Mile Classic on July 31 in north London.
The inaugural World Beer Mile Classic was staged in San Francisco last year. But after struggling to gain a permit in the United States, it is being held at Allianz Park in Hendon on July 31.
For beer mile beginners, it involves downing a beer after every circuit of the four-lap mile.
