A YOUNG athlete funding scheme which supported the likes of Jessica Ennis-Hill and Mo Farah in their junior days has opened applications for the 2016-17 season.
The Ron Pickering Memorial Fund (RPMF), which has helped fund 43 of Britain’s 2016 Olympians – 54% of the team – is taking applications for athletes aged 15-23 – or over-23s in exceptional circumstances.
