We first met in July 2013 when I was on holiday with some friends in Greece. We were at this private little beach, just messing around in the water, when these three guys came over. I noticed one of them was pretty cute, so I went over. That’s how I met George. We had a quick conversation in the water, then later that evening my friends and I went out and I saw him again. We kept bumping into each other over the next few days and got to know each other. We were both in a relationship at the time so it wasn’t a holiday romance or anything, but, even though nothing happened, there was definitely a spark there. When we got back to London we kept in touch and realised that there was more than just a friendship there. We made the right decision to end our relationships and try to make a go of it. We’ve been inseparable ever since, and we moved in together about a year ago. We’ve discussed the future and although it’s a bit soon for me to get down on one knee, it’s definitely something to consider. We’re happy at the moment just spending nights in with a bottle of wine and a movie. We’ve discussed going back to Greece one day as we both really love it there.
