Your monthly fashion need-to-know

He’s won our bestdressed man and our bestgroomed awards, as well as gracing our cover, so we thought it was high time we had a little catch up with supermodel Oliver Cheshire. Oliver is in his third season as the face of Marks & Spencer’s Autograph, so he talked us through a few of his favourite pieces for autumn-winter.

Let’s start with what you’ve been up to? You’ve just done the charity Pedal to Paris with the M&S team, tell us a bit about that?

It’s a charity cycle ride to Paris and we’re raising money for the Royal British Legion. My grandad was in the army and I heard about it over a dinner (with M&S) and I said it was something I would love to do and help out. I put on my jersey and started training immediately. I have a very sore arse now because I’ve never cycled for six hours a day. It’s hard going but it’s good fun and for a great cause. I did it with my dad and a team from Marks & Spencer. It was for all ages and fitness groups. My dad’s a bit of a cyclist though: he’s done the iron man and a lot of triathlons, so he’s been giving me loads of tips and told me the right gear to buy. But I’ve fallen off a few times — trying to train around London is quite difficult.

Your dad Graeme took part in it and he’s been on set with us before, for your Attitudecover. Do you reckon we could persuade him to do a shoot with us?
