Long before Pierce Brosnan and Meryl Streep got their hands on it, John Grant and his old band The Czars had prised some previously unheard depths from the Abba back catalogue. It was 2003. John was in Paris, sleeping on the sofa of singer-songwriter Tim Keegan, who suggested that he should record a version of the Swedish band’s Angel Eyes.
