IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A TRULY iconic moment to witness, steeped in Australian symbolism. After finishing the 2015 Tour de France, Rohan Dennis was greeted in Paris by former team-mate Cadel Evans. On one side stood a cycling legend who won the yellow jersey in 2011; on the other a promising rider who had just blossomed at cycling’s grandest of Grand Tours. A metaphorical passing of the baton between Australia’s recently retired great and a new contender for his crown.
