It hardly seems possible. But ‘show time’ is upon us once again and Bountyhunter Publications are doing them all again this season starting off with our pre-Christmas favourite, The Carp Society Winter Show at Sandown Park on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th November. We’ve got our usual stand, right by the bar of course, and we will have the full range of Bountyhunter carp books available including the new Dave Lane Legends, Martin Clarke’s Strictly Carp, and we will be taking pre-orders for the new Rob Maylin Legends book out in January. Don’t forget this is a great place to get your books autographed and most of the authors of the Legends series will be there along with Martin Clarke and myself of course. Before I get to this month’s issue, which by the way has a breathtaking lineup, I want to tell you about something very special this month… How would you like to design the new Big Carp hoodie and win a special one-off bespoke garment with ‘designed by your name’ on it? It’s true – in this month’s issue we are running a special competition to do just that, and it will be judged by you, the readers. You can go to the website at www.bigcarpmagazine.co.uk and download a blank pattern, and either do your design online, or if you would prefer you can simply draw your design on paper and either scan it and email or post it to us at the address in the front of the magazine. The winner gets a special, totally unique bespoke hoodie with their name on it, and then a new range of clothing will be available to carp anglers everywhere. An awesome prize indeed.
