Cameron sets up WBC title bid by outclassing Sanchez

CHANTELLE CAMERON won the right to challenge WBC female superlightweight champion Jessica McCaskill, flooring and clearly outpointing Argentina’s Anahi Sanchez in their official final eliminator at York Hall. After 10 largely one-sided two-minute rounds, Cameron (Northampton) won by two scores of 100-89 (Lee Cook and Chas Coakley) and a slightly closer 99-90 from Kieran McCann. Ian John-Lewis refereed.
