TIGHT IS RIGHT

HEYWOOD’S Lee Clayton met the alwaysactive Lewisham-based Swede Edward Bjorklund on a show that consisted of six four-threes at the Last Drop Village Hotel.

Clayton stayed tight, boxing his way in behind his constant southpaw jab before bringing his straight left into play. It was no surprise, therefore, that referee Darren Sarginson turned in a routine 40-36 card for Clayton, leaving the busy Bjorklund free to face Liam Gaynor next week and Louis Norman the week after that.
