IN COMPLETE contrast to the rain of 2016, Springbank sizzled as a mini-heatwave toasted its open day.
Visitors could only find camping space as Campbeltown accommodation providers were fully booked for the three-day Malts Festival, last week, which preceded the weekend’s MOK Run. Carol and Paul Mc- Neil, who run Braefoot guest house, said: ‘The whisky is the attraction and not the weather, although that helps.
‘We have been jam packed and are already taking bookings for next year.’
