Kintyre sportsmanship

THE QUALITY of sportsmanship that comes from as small a place as Kintyre is astounding.

As Dunaverty golf greats Belle Robertson and Jock MacVicar were awarded lifetime achievement awards last week by Scottish Golf in recognition of their success on and off the course it reminds us of our sporting talent.

Not only in golf but in many other sporting pursuits as well.
