ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

DIXON - Sheila, Alastair, Karen, Mairi and their families would like to thank all relatives, friends, neighbours, work colleagues and associates for their many kinds expressions of sympathy, support, flowers, cards, phone calls, visits and offers of help received following the recent sad loss of Bruce. Special thanks to ambulance staff, doctors, along with the staff of Dalmally Mart, for their valiant efforts to help Bruce. Our thanks are also extended to Belinda Braithwaite for a personal and appropriate service; to Donald MacDonald Funeral Directors for dignified funeral arrangements; to Graham Brown for his attendance and assistance; and to the Kilmartin Hotel for providing all catering and staff, particularly given the large numbers in attendance. Finally, our thanks to all who attended at church, marquee and graveside, in such large numbers, to pay their respects to Bruce and the family. Your support has been greatly appreciated. The retiral collection has raised over £1,600 for the Mid Argyll Show and RSABI.

MACINNES - Neil, David and Alan would like to thank family, friends and neighbours for all the cards, letters, phone calls and kind expressions of sympathy received following the sad loss of Margaret. Special thanks to all staff in the Glenaray Ward for their dedicated care of Margaret. Thanks also to Rev David Carruthers for his support and uplifting words of comfort and tribute. Thanks to Roddy MacDonald and staff for their guidance, support and professional services and also to the Grey Gull for excellent catering. The retiral collection raised £560 for the Liver Transplant Unit and MS Centre.

MINSHAW - Peggy, Andrew, Gillian and Lorna would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for their expressions of sympathy and support during Alan’s long illness and after his death. Particular thanks to Grace Rae, and Maureen and John Campbell. They would also like to thank Rev P Wallace and Rev M McArthur for the excellent funeral services, and Kenneth and Rhys Blair for their kindness to us and attention to detail. Thank you also to the Ardshiel Hotel for the superb purvey. The retiral collection was for Argyll Scout Association and raised £1,411.75.
